Wedding Venue

The wedding ceremony and reception will be held at the Newseum, located at 555 Pennsylvania Ave., N.W., Washington, DC 20001 (click link for GoogleMaps).

• Please enter the Newseum through the Freedom Forum entrance on 6th Street near Pennsylvania Ave, NW.
• If you are driving to the Newseum, there is a parking garage available for you on 6th Street, immediately across from the Newseum. The garage will stay open late to accommodate our guests!
• The ceremony will begin promptly at 6:30 PM.

Friday Night Drinks

Please join us for pre-wedding drinks at the Sofitel Hotel.  We will have the Paris Pre-Function room set up as a bar just for us (very VIP!) from 7 to 10PM on Friday, October 19.  We hope that your travel arrangements will allow you to kick off the weekend of festivities with drinks at the Sofitel!

We are very excited to see all of you in a little over 6 months, in DC!

This is an interactive Google map of the important sites, hotels, and restaurants near our wedding at the Newseum. We will update the map and this site as new events are scheduled.

• The Red pin identifies the Newseum, the site of our wedding ceremony and reception.
• Please enter through the Freedom Forum entrance located on 6th Street. You will be directed to the 7th floor.
• There is a parking lot directly across 6th Street from the Newseum - this lot will stay open late for our guests.

• The Blue pins are hotels where we have reserved blocks of rooms for the weekend of October 19-21. Reservations for the hotels must be made by September 19. 
• Mention the Kushnir/Erlandson Wedding Room Block when making the reservation to get the discounted rates. 
• Hamilton Crowne Plaza (800 263-9802) on 14th and K St NW is offering $159/night for a Single or Double room. 
• Sofitel (202 730-8428) on 15th and H St NW is offering $219/night for a Superior King room.
